Why this talk?

I have been saying one day I will do a talk for a long time.

Decided to talk on what I've been messing about with lately.

I have a bunch of half finished projects related to mapping and GIS

Have always been interested in mapping/geography/geology

Was a geologist before switching to sysdamin/developer
