Deleting a file 

• Delete it:

$ svn delete faq.html
D         faq.html
$ ls faq.html
ls: faq.html: No such file or directory

• Commit it:

$ svn ci -m "- remove FAQ at request of legal dept" faq.html
Deleting       faq.html
Committed revision 109.

• Or, not:

$ svn revert faq.html
Reverted 'faq.html'
